PRIORITIES

With the use of our Strategic Plan our district has been able to focus on what is most important to the success of our students. Looking ahead at the next year we are suggesting the following recommendations:

• Continue building literacy gains among our lowest-performing student groups.

• Establish the AI Working Group and finalize the district’s Acceptable Use Policies for both students and staff.

• Continue embedding PBIS data and leadership practices and strengthen Tier 2 interventions where needed.

• Sustaining and growing Canvas participation by parents, particularly through proactive outreach to incoming 6th grade families.

• Deepen our two-way communication addressing the desire expressed in survey data for more responsive and participatory channels.

• We are in our second year of community funded status and need to align our expenses to strategic priorities in order to maintain our fiscal responsibilities.

• Professional learning for leaders at all levels to keep pace with the rapidly evolving landscape of AI tools in education.
